A Comparative study of "prayer" in the Old and New Testaments and the Quran

Prayer is manʹs request of the Almighty God to meet his needs, or for a material or spiritual gain, the most important of which is a request to be saved or immune from danger or death. One of the form of worship in the Abrahamic religions is prayer. In this paper , prayer is analyzed from point of view of the holy books of Judaism, Christianity and Islam. The main question in this paper is: how is prayer represented by these holy books?
