چكيده لاتين :
The return of candidial infections and their robustness against antifungal drugs are essential problems in curing process relating to incorrect diagnose and inefficient chemical drugs. In this paper anticandidial activity of Allium jesdianum extracts (aquatic, methanolic, ethanolic, decoction, macerated, infused and heated juice) were investigated against Candida albicans (ATCC62061, ATCC1677, ATCC11670), Candida glabrata and Candida tropicalis by disk diffusion, well diffusion, MIC and MFC determination. Results showed that aquatic extracts present anticandidial activity against Candida albicans. Among these, anticandidial activity of heated juice was remarkable. Zone of inhibition was 10, 11 and 10 mm respectively. For the MIC 300, 200 and 300^g/ml and in MFC 400, 300 and 400 jig/ml were evaluated respectively. Alcoholic, macerated, decoction and infused showed no anticandidial activity against Candida albicans. Also none of the extracts showed anticandidial activity against Candida glabrata and Candida tropicalis.
