A Survey on social factors affecting woman participation Rate in Tabriz NGOs

This paper introduces reasons and effective parameters of women \s participation rate in non-governmental organizations (NGOs). Its purpose is to study via scientific methods. The sample size includes 370 persons according to Cochran \s formula. This is a descriptive-survey research. The method of sampling is random ones in which considers the women ratio of various municipality areas (i.e. deprived areas and wealthy areas). The data gathering is based on filling out questionnaires. Finally, the results are as follows: There are relationship between women ʹs participation spirit, education level, economic status, self-confidence and self-trust with their participation rate in NGOs. There is no relationship between women \s social status and their participation rate in NGOs.
