Throughout the history, the past and contemporary Russian policies (during both the Tzarist empire, and the socialist reign) has had a profond impact on the I.R.I national security. This impact, since the disintegration of the Seviet Union and appearance of the new independent states has been facing new challenges. The present article Thus considers the acquaintance with and analysis of the Russian Federation trend of regional polices first, then evaluates the negative and positive outcomes of such a policy on the I.R.I national security, regarding the analysis of all the actors influencing the changes in the region. The results, the article reaches indicates that the Russian Federation policies in Central Asia, Causasus is based on the axes as continous influence) standing against rival sovereignties, denial of influence loy other actors, defending the rights of those with russian origins, indirect leadership and maintenance of economical and military Supeiority, the impace of economical and military supeiority, the impact of the Russian Federation regional policies on the I.R.I national security also could be evaluated within a wide spectrum, from cooperation level and confidence building (dacord level), to threat level, rivalry and conflict (encounter level). •
