Land slide Hazard Zonation with Analytical Hierarchy Process(AHP) Method (Case study: Madarsu river watershed)

The final goal of every research in ground mass movement is the provision of hazard zonation map and division of the zone under study into zones with different degrees of hazard in order to decrease the damages resulted. Nowadays various methods for hazard zonation of ground mass movement have been presented so that each of these methods considers different parameters. In study of mass movement of Madarsu watershed the operations of slope, slope orientation, lithology, land use, rain, distance from river, distance from fault and distance from road used for hazard zonation. After analyzing the data using Arc GIS and Excel effects of each information layer in occurrence of slide is specified and at the end it is observed that the information value method is the most appropriate method for hazard zonation of slide watershed of Madarsu.
