Analysis physical condition of Nahavand city old texture (Method of zoning Mouriss).

The texture of each city is a varying quality that shed light on cityʹs structural condition and its style and steps of foundation and expansion. The old texture of city, influenced by different factors and based upon the prevailing architecture and city-construction culture and experiences of the perecedents, has carried out its own expansion procedure and is the apparent manifestation of societyʹs culture and civilization. For planning, enhancement and renovation of city, studying the existing condition of texture and acquired damages in the cityʹs structure and space, finding favorable patterns and appropriate methods of expansion, and corresponding the old texture with contemporary life, and its functional enhancement are inevitable requirements. In this survey the condition of nehavand,s old texture, with an are about 66 hectares consisting of 17 districts and a population amount to 15.6% of total urban population of nehavand, has been surveyed and analyzed by combinatorial investigation and applying physical indexes. Research findings show that the old texture and its districts donʹs have favorable condition; particularly the districts located in the northern, eastern and north-eastern parts of the target area have more critical and unfavorable conditions than the other old districts.
