Persian Gulf Cooperation Council: Iran Peaceful Nuclear Capability, Behavior Analysis and. Variables.

On the issue of nuclear diplomacy and the Islamic Republic of Iranʹs effort to promote its peaceful nuclear capability, several variables are involved. Among these, regional variables, influenced by beyond regional international variables, have had more effect on I.R.I, decision making. The Persian Gulf Cooperation Council as an influential regional organization in the Persian Gulf region, a determining geopolitical-geoeconomical zone in the environment of international system, has especial importance in this direction. The influence of trans-regional actors such as the United States, the European Union, N.A.T.O. and the United Nations, on the processes of decision making in the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council, is the reason of shaping the positions and attitudes of PGCC against Iranʹs peaceful nuclear capability, on the basis of the persuation of trans-regional actors, interested in the security-economical processes of region, instead of existing realities. This article deals with the case from viewpoint of the interaction between mentioned variables and on the basis of content and discourse analysis method.
