A Century Theorizing on Imperialism.

The authors of the book, analyze the process of one hundred years (twentieth century) of theory making on the subject of imperialism, and examine the most important of them. In this work, the authors begins their study from the colonialism era to the new-colonialism and finally approach to imperialism and its development. After the period of commerical capitalism, Industial Revolution took place and the course of the process of industrialization, international compelition among European countries, and later on, the United States of America appeared. In the last stage of the development of capitalism, new monopolies in the forms of cartels and trusts were shaped and led to the Imperialist conflicts in the global scale. The authors of the book, introduc all important imperialist theories in this regard and analyze them. Finally, the book puts forward the discourse of "orientalism".
