Sufism in Adharbaydjan was established later than other Islamic areas for several reasons. However some pre-Islamic Gnostic thoughts are seen in some ot the Sufis opinions. But often the Sufism, which was gentle and tied to religion, was followed by them. This was to such an extent that the papas, who were headless toward the Customs of monastery and were occasionally wretched, used their exploration for the purpose of religion annunciation. The Sufis of Adharbaydjan before the dominance of Mongol were tied to the practical Sufism and they used to refine themselves. For this reason they had a special position among the common people and in fact they were far from theoretical discussion and give Gnostic writing. Adharbaydjan monasteries were crowded and welcomed the traveler outfits in fifth and sixth Hijri centuries. It should be mentioned that the religion of manliness had also many followers because of political and social transmission. This essay, by review opinions and views of Sufism shakes, tries to demonstrate the historical process of Adharbaydjan Sufism direction before the Mongol domination.
