Research and survey is required condition of country or a region economic development and is one index of knowledge oriented economic. Identification and priority processing of research needs is the first step of planning process and implementing research activities and actually the first factor of assuring the effectiveness of research performance which if done properly it will assure the usage of research results in the trend of country and region development. Accordingly, this research was done for identifying and prioritizing of Firoozkuh County research requirements. In the beginning, for implementing this research, by gathering different economic, cultural and social factors, the position of this county in Tehran Province was evaluated. Then capabilities, straits, troubles and problems of Firoozkuh County were identified using interviews with informed executive officers, trustees, and experts. Finally, 35 research titles were extracted based on these capabilities, straits, troubles and problems and by using TOSIS they were prioritized.
