چكيده لاتين :
The purpose of this research is to study acquaintance and using ICT criterion of board members of Islamic Azad University, Sari branch in training activities in academic year of 1385-86.ICT in the short time, is accounted as one of the components modern society. Now, most countries parallel to reading, writing and computing, concerned the recognition of IT and dominance on skills and basic concepts as a core section of research and training. Now a day, knowledge and information production, as one of the expected approaches of universities and higher education institutes, has its special position and has suitable effect in their ranking. Knowledge production has direct relation to its application for developing knowledge and these process reqires academy members, lecturers, and researchers of universities get familiar to ICT.
Research findings indicate that acquaintance and using ICT criterion of board members is in average level, acquaintance and using of internet is more than average level, acquaintance and using of windows XP is less than average level, and acquaintance and using of ms word is higher than average level.
One of the most important suggestions of this research is the suitable investment for expanding ICT infrastructure, culture development and required vision of using ICT in the universities, and important role of government and policy makers for ICT, are basic pillar of growth and development.
