بررسي خواص كششي پارچه هاي حلقوي پودي اينترلاك

This study focuses on the tensile properties, certainly initial modulus and Poissonʹs ratio of interlock-knitted fabrics. To investigate these properties, we produced five interlock fabrics over a different range of knitting stiffness on a circular knitting machine. Thereafter we calculated initial modulus experimentally from load-extension curves for each fabric and compared them with theoretical results. It is observed that there is no agreement between the theoretical and experimental values in wale direction, but there is reasonable prediction of initial modulus of interlock fabrics in course direction. Itʹs concluded that, the theoretical model is not useful in interlock-knitted fabrics, certainly in wale direction. The Poissonʹs ratio was measured experimentally and their trend against time has been studied. We concluded that the values of Poissonʹs ratio are increase with time in both course and wale directions and its values are higher in wale direction than course direction.
