مقايسه اهميت و اجراي خدمات آموزش به بيمار از ديدگاه پرستاران و بيماران

A comparison of the importance of patient educational programs in the viewpoint of nurses and patients

چكيده: مقدمه: آموزش بيماران، سودمندي هاي زيادي از جمله افزايش رضايت مندي، بهبود كيفيت زندگي، كاهش عوارض بيماري ها، كاهش هزينه هاي درماني و كاهش ميزان مراجعه مجدد بيماران را به دنبال دارد. اين مطالعه با هدف مقايسه اهميت و اجراي خدمات آموزش به بيمار از ديدگاه پرستاران و بيماران انجام شد. روش كار: در اين مطالعه توصيفي- مقطعي، پرستاران بيمارستان فاطمه زهرا (س) نجف آباد اصفهان (90 نفر) و 120 نفر بيمار كه به روش نمونه گيري در دسترس انتخاب شدند، مورد بررسي قرار گرفتند. ابزار جمع آوري داده ها، پرسشنامه محقق ساخته بود. داده هاي جمع آوري شده به كمك نرم افزار SPSS به روش آمار توصيفي و استنباطي (آزمون من ويتني يو) مورد تجزيه و تحليل قرار گرفتند. يافته ها: نتايج مطالعه نشان داد بين ديدگاه پرستاران و بيماران درباره اهميت و اجراي خدمات آموزش به بيمار تفاوت معني دار وجود دارد (P < 0.05) و نمره پرستاران در مقايسه با نمره بيماران در خصوص اهميت (82/48 در برابر 28/46) و اجراي آموزش به بيمار (64/38 در برابر 91/27) بيش تر بوده است. از ديدگاه پرستاران آموزش به بيمار توسط پرستاران داراي انگيزه بالا بيش ترين اهميت را داشته و آموزش به بيمار مطابق نيازهاي آموزشي وي بيش تر اجرا مي شده است. در حالي كه از ديدگاه بيماران آموزش به بيمار توسط پرستاران با اطلاعات علمي بالا بيش ترين اهميت را داشته و برقراري ارتباط صحيح در هنگام آموزش به بيمار بيش تر اجرا مي شده است. بحث و نتيجه گيري: ميانگين نمره پرستاران نسبت به بيماران در خصوص اهميت و اجراي خدمات آموزش به بيمار بالاتر بود. يافته هاي اين پژوهش مي تواند راهنماي پرستاران براي بهبود كيفيت مراقبت از بيماران از طريق آموزش به آن ها باشد.

Patient education has many advantages such as increase in the clientsʹ satisfaction, improvement of life quality, decrease in the side effects of the disease and treatment expenditure, and decrease in the patientsʹ readmission. The main objective of this study was to compare the importance and performance of patient educational programs in the viewpoint of nurses and patients. Material and Methods: In this descriptive cross-sectional study, all the nurses employed in Fatemeh Zahra hospital of Najafabad (n=90) and 120 patients were selected through convenience sampling method and recruited to the study. Data were gathered using self-designed questionnaires. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS software using descriptive and analytical statistics (Mann Whitney U). Results: The findings showed that there were significant differences between the viewpoint of the nurses and patients about the importance and performance of patient educational programs (P < 0.005). The scores of the nurses on the importance of such services and the performance of patient education (38.64 vs. 27.91) were higher than those of the patients. (48.82 vs. 46.28). From the point of view of the nurses, patient education by highly motivated nurses and based on their educational needs were the most important measures which needs to be tackled. However, from point of view of the patients, patient education by highly knowledgeable nurses and appropriate communication skills during patient education were the most significant measures which should be taken into account. Conclusion: The mean score of the nurses about the importance and performance of patient education programs were higher than those of the patients. The results can contribute to the improvement in the quality of care for the patients.
