بررسي مقايسه ميزان چسبندگي و رشد كانديدا آلبيكانس بر روي سافت لاينرهاي GC

In vitro evaluation of Candida albicans adherence and growth on GC and Acropars soft liners

خلاصه: سابقه و هدف: چسبندگي ورشد كانديدا آلبيكانس بر روي مواد سافت لاينر مي تواند منجر به مشكلات كلينيكي و تخريب مواد پروتزي گردد. شيوع دنچر استوماتيت به همراهي كانديدا آلبيكانس،67%-11% گزارش شده است.هدف از انجام اين مطالعه، بررسي ميزان چسبندگي و رشد كانديدا آلبيكانس بر روي دونوع سافت لاينر(GC و آكروپارس)و نيز مقايسه با گروه كنترل(آكريل آكرو پارس) بود. مواد و روش‌ها: 22 نمونه از هر نوع سافت لاينر و10 نمونه اكريليك(پرداخت شده و پرداخت نشده) تهيه شدوسپس اين نمونه ها در سوسپانسيوني از كانديدا آلبيكانس قرار داده شدند. پس از انجام شستشو, قطعات مورد آزمايش با آكريدين اورنج رنگ آميزي و با ميكروسكوپ فلورسنت بررسي شدند. براي آناليزآاماري از آزمون هايOne-way ANOVA و Post-Hoc از نوع Tukey HSD استفاده شد. يافته‌ها: در اين مطالعه مشاهده شد كه ميزان چسبندگي ورشد به اكريل پرداخت نشده بيشترين وبه اكريل پرداخت شده كمترين بود.همچنين ميزان چسبندگي و رشد به سافت لاينر اكروپارس به طور معني داري از سافت لاينر GC بيشتر بود ( 05/0p < ). تفاوت معني داري بين اكريل پرداخت شده و پرداخت نشده مشاهده شد ( 05/0 p < ). نتيجه گيري: با توجه به نتايج، دقت لازم در جهت انتخاب ماده مناسب با حداقل عوارض ثانويه و توليداين نوع مواد دندانپزشكي با عوارض كمتر، ضروري مي باشد. كليد واژه‌ها: چسبندگي،رشد، كانديدا آلبيكانس، سافت لاينر.

Background and Aim: Adherence and growth of Candida albicanson denture soft lining materials can result in clinical problems, and deteriorations of the materials. Prevalence of denture stomatitis in association with Candida albicanshasbeenreported to range between ll%-67%.The aim of this study was to evaluate the adherence and growth of Candida albicanson two type of denture soft liners (GC and Acropars) and comparison to control group(Acropars acryl). Materials and Methods: Twenty-two specimens of each soft lining material and 10 acrylic specimens(polished and not polished) were made and incubated in a suspension of Candida albicans. After rinsing, the specimens were stained with acridine orange and examined under fluorescent microscope .For statistical analysis One-way ANOVA and Post Hoc,TukeyHSD tests were used. Results: The highest and the least adhesion and growth were found in the not polished and the the polished groups respectively. Also, adherence and growth on Acropars soft liner was significantly more than GC soft liner(p<0.05). Significant difference was found between polished and not polished acryl(p<0.05). Conclusion: According to results, precise attention in selection of correct material with the lowest side effects and itʹs production steps seems mandatory.
