American Association for Advancement of Science (AAAS) was foundaed in 1848. AAAs affiliares include 262 Societies and academies of Science, serving more than 10 million members. The non-profit AAAS publication, Science, has the largest paid circulation science journal with an estimated total readership of one million. Scientists, full time students, postdoctorals and residents my become a member of AAAS and receive internet publications and other benefits such a scholarships. AAAS has fulfilled an effective role in the advancement of science and welfare in America.
