Planning The Capacity of Bank Branches, Applying Queuing Model Theory Case Study

بانك ها امروزه به عنوان بازيگران محيط رقابتي مالي خود را در برابر دو هدف به ظاهر متناقض مي بايند.از طرفي سعي مي شود خدمات مالي در كمترين زمان و بهترين كيفيت به مشتريان ارايه شود و از طرف ديگر بايد تلاش كرد كه هزينه هاي عملياتي در سطح معقولي كنترل شود. يكي از حوزه هاي تصميم گيري در اين مورد تعيين ظرفيت بهينه شعب است كه هم بر ميزان انتظار مشتري در دريافت خدمات و هم در هزينه هاي عملياتي به طور مستقيم تاثير گذار است. هدف اين تحقيق يافتن روشي علمي براي تعيين ظرفيت بهينه شعب بانك سامان است. ابتدا تلاش شده است از طريق نظريه هاي صف ماهيت توزيع تقاضاي مشتريان در صف و زمان ارايه خدمات، توصيف شود. سپس با تجزيه تحليل هزينه ها، نرخ تاثير تعداد باجه ها بر هزينه ها محاسبه شده و در مورد تعيين تعداد باجه هايي كه هزينه ها راحداقل مي كند تصميم گيري شده است.

Nowadays, Banks as the most important payers of the financial market are facing two main challenges seeming to be contradictory. On one hand, they are pushing to serve their consumers at the shortest time and the best quality, and on the other hand, they are forced to minimize their operational cost to keep the competitive advantage. One way to meet these goals at once is to optimize the capacity of the branches which influences both the perceived expectation of the customers and the operational costs. The main objective of this paper is to find the optimum capacity of one branch of Saman Bank. One step toward that is to describe the customer demand in a queuing model and the other step is to use the output of the model to analyze the costs connected to serve the service demanded. One item which can be calculated as the output is the number of cashiers in the bank.
