The Islamic Conferenceʹs Standing Committee for Scientific and Technological Cooperation (COMSTECH)

A major way to develop and promote technology is regional and international cooperation among countries. The standing committee for scientific and technological cooperation affiliated to the Organisation of the Islamic Conference is one of the most active bodies in this field which has been established to promote scientific cooperation and collaborations among Islamic countries. This committee, also known as COMSTECH, mainly aims at developing post-graduate studies, investing in the research sector, paying special attention to IT, transferring information across Islamic countries and preventing brain drain.
