توسعه آموزش از راه دور در نظام آموزش عالي (فرصتها و چالشها)

Growing spread of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) on the one hand and increasing demand for higher education on the other hand will incline the higher education system toward creating various educational courses, especially distance learning and optimal utilization of Information Technology capacities. Distance Learning as one of the information society services formed from integration of modem communicational and educational technologies provides the possibility of removing the time and place boundaries and bringing about a tremendous revolution in higher education. Infrastructural global revolutions in higher education have exposed the country to a conceptual and fundamental revolution; and in transition from traditional educational systems to modern higher education which is full of obstacles, many opportunities and challenges have occurred to demand and offer systems. The present article discusses the existing challenges for the higher education system opportunities, information and communication technology development and the challenges that the higher education system of the country will be confronted in future.
