مقايسه دقت ابعادي آلژينات آريادنت و باير در محيط آزمايشگاهي

Comparison of the Dimensional Changes of Ariadent and Bayer Alginate Impression Materials (Invitro)

خلاصه: سابقه و هدف: با توجه به شيوع تغيير ابعادي قالب‌ها و تبعات آن و مصرف آلژينات‌هاي داخلي در سطح وسيع، اين تحقيق جهت تعيين دقت ابعادي آلژينات آريادنت به عنوان نمونه داخلي و باير به عنوان نمونه خارجي انجام شد. مواد و روش‌ها: تحقيق با طراحي تجربي روي 17 نمونه آلژينات‌ آريادنت (مورد) و باير (شاهد) انجام گرفت. مدلي ساخته و قالبگيري از مدل اصلي توسط قاشقك اختصاصي با آلژينات هاي آريادنت و باير انجام و قالب‌ها با گچ استون ريخته شد.كوچكترين و بزرگترين قطر، ارتفاع و فاصله بين داي‌ها با دستگاه اندازه گيري ميكروسكوپي (Integral Derby England) سنجيده وداده‌ها با آزمون‌هاي paired T Test و Mann-Whitney مورد قضاوت آماري قرار گرفت. يافته‌ها: تفاوت قطر كوچك وبزرگ، ارتفاع و فاصله محورهاي دو داي كست حاصل از آلژينات باير به ترتيب برابر با ،6/185 ? 2/209 ، 7/230 ? 5/345 ، 1/213 ? 9/219 و 7/478 ? 3/328 ميكرون و درآلژينات آريادنت به ترتيب برابر با ، 5/215 ? 3/198 ، 3/227 ? 8/342 ، 9/280 ? 7/336 و 5/265 ? 9/281 ميكرون بود كه هر دو نسبت به نمونه اصلي اختلاف معني‌داري داشتند ( 0005/0 P < ). ميزان تغييرات ابعادي دو نوع آلژينات، آلژينات باير و آريادنت در مقايسه با يكديگر معني دار نبود(9/0 < P ). نتيجه‌گيري: دو ماده تغييرات ابعادي معني‌دار نسبت به مدل اصلي داشتند كه در پروتز ثابت عدم كاربرد داشته اما براي قالب‌گيري نهايي پروتز متحرك قابل استفاده است.

Abstract: Background and Aim: : Dimensional changes of impression materials cause distortion of the cast with negative impact on the outcomes of prosthodontics treatments. There is less evidence about accuracy of the domestic alginate impression materials.The aim of this study was to compare the dimensional changes of Ariadent and Bayer alginate impression materials. Materials and Methods In this experimental study, seventeen casts were made from master model by a cast metallic special tray, using Ariadent (case) and Bayer (control) alginates. Small and large diameter, height and distance of two dies were measured by a digital measuring instruments. Data were collected and analyzed by Paired T –Test, and MannWhittney for the two groups and master model. Results: The difference between the size of small and large diameter, height, and distance of centers of two dies made from Bayer alginate was 209.2 ± 185.6, 345.5 ± 230.7, 219.9 ± 213.1. and 328± 478.7 and for the Ariadent alginate was 198.3 ± 215.5, 342.8± 227.3, 336.7± 280.9, and 281.9± 336.7 microns respectively. These differences were significant with respect to master model (P < 0.0005). The changes of measured dimensions within two groups were not significant statistically (P < 0.5). Conclusion: Both impression materials have significant dimensional changes which can not be used in fixed prosthodontics; however they can be used in removable prosthodontics with adherence to the principles of standard guidelines.
