Professional Teaching Competencies in Agriculture Higher Education: case of University College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, University of Tehran

هدف اين پژوهش توصيفي- پيمايشي، بررسي و تحليل صلاحيت حرفه اي تدريس در آموزش عالي از ديدگاه اعضاي هيات علمي پرديس كشاورزي و منابع طبيعي دانشگاه تهران است. جامعه آماري آن اعضاي هيات علمي پرديس كشاورزي و منابع طبيعي دانشگاه تهران (157=N) بودند كه با بهره‌گيري از فرمول كوكران 50 نفر از آنان به عنوان نمونه تعيين شدند و در نهايت، حجم نمونه به منظور دقت بيشتر به 60 نفر افزايش پيدا كرد. نمونه مورد نظر با روش تصادفي ساده گزينش شدند. ابزار پژوهش پرسش نامه‌اي بود كه روايي شكلي آن برپايه نظر جمعي از اعضاي هيات علمي گروه ترويج و آموزش كشاورزي دانشگاه تهران تاييد و براي تعيين پايايي آن از ضريب آلفاي كرونباخ بهره‌گيري شد (84/0=?). داده‌ها با بهره‌گيري از نرم افزار SPSSwin13.5 تجزيه و تحليل شدند. يافته‌هاي اين تحقيق نشان داد كه در اولويت بندي 25 مولفه ي صلاحيت تدريس، آشنايي با روحيه هاي دانشجويان و آگاه ساختن آنان از ميزان پيشرفتشان به ترتيب در اولويت‌هاي اول و دوم قرار دارند. همچنين، برپايه ي نتيجه هاي تحليل عاملي، چهار عامل آموزش، ارزش يابي، مديريت و ارتباطات در مجموع 45/75 درصد از كل واريانس صلاحيت تدريس را تبيين كردند.

This survey was conducted to investigate professional teaching competencies in higher education used by the academic staff of the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, University of Tehran. Some 157 members of the academic staff who were involved in teaching in 2008-2009 were included as the statistical population, from which 60 were selected as the research sample through simple-randomization method using Qukrun formula. Then, a questionnaire was designed and employed to gather the required data. The validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by a panel of the academic staff of the department of agriculture extension education, College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, university of Tehran and its reliability was depicted by Cranach’s alpha. The results indicated that from 25 teaching competency-related parameters, two including familiarization with students’ disposition as well as informing students about their educational improvement had first and second priorities. In addition, it turned out that four factors including education, evaluation, management, and communication explained about 75.45% of variations in the components of professional teaching competency in agriculture higher education.
