Survival of Imamat due to its link with the Qurʹan and the Prophetʹs offspring

Like all natural phenomena, religious sects are living organisms, and the more compatible they are with religion, the more their chances of survival. This is the case with Shiʹism, due to its close link with the Prophet (pbuh) through Imam Ali (pbuh). The writer first tries to clarify the position of Imam Ali (pbuh) as the main pillar of Shiʹism vis-A-vis the Prophet, and then to show that through the Imams the Qurʹanic knowledge has reached us intact. This is because, on the one hand, the Imams are immune to sins and, on the other hand, they are blessed with the prophetic knowledge, proving the Prophetʹs hadith that the Qurʹan and his offspring are inseparable.
