The role of the holy Imams in the survival of Islam

The purpose of this paper is to show the role of the characteristics of the holy Imams in the survival of Islam. According to the writer, the Imams are prime examples of humanity chosen be God, and are thus bestowed with divine-human characteristics. A study of the lives of the Imams shows the will of God Almighty; to present examples for human beings, vicegerents of God Almighty on the earth, representing the perfect man. These men have shown will power, knowledge, fortitude, resistance, fear of God in their selfless fight with problems, brining the world under their will and power, thus contributing to the survival of religion
