Comparative study of Rumiʹs mysticism in Mathnavi with Eric Immanuel Schmidt ʹs works

Rumiʹs mysticism is one of the subjects preoccupying literary scholarsʹ mind. He developed a school of thought for exploring truth and "the" truth. The same concepts can be found in the works of Immanuel Eric Schmidt. Could it be that he was inspired by Rumi. The article tries to study comparatively Rumi ʹs mysticism with Schmidt ʹs works and examine their common features. Key words: Rumi, Immanuel Eric Schmidt, Mathnavi, comparative literature
