The Strategic Culture and Defense-Cultural Planning in Borderline Regions

This article focuses on explaining defense-cultural planning in borderline regions as an enabling factor aimed at preserving national unity and solidarity. Considering the changed conditions in the region and the world including the autonomy of Kurdish areas in North Iraq, the presence of American forces along West borders, and movements of terrorist groups being strengthened in such areas, defense-cultural planning in the countryʹs borderline regions is the focus of this article. In order to achieve national unity and solidarity, this article tries to detect the set of factors and parameters effective on the strategic culture by using a suitable conceptual model and with a strategic culture approach.
