An experiment with 4 stage were conducted to evaluate the effects using different blends of some medicinal herbs on carcass traits of broilers. In each of these experiments 240 (Ross- 308) broilers were used from 1- 42 days in two breeding period starter (1-21 days) and grower (22-42 days) of age in a completely randomized design in 4 treatments and 3 replicates (with 20 bird in each replicate). The experimental groups in the first experiment included: 1) control (without using any medicinal herbs), 2) 1% of Zizaphora + 0.5% of Menta pulagum + 0.5% of peppermint 3) 0.5% of Zizaphora + 1% of Menta pulagum + 0.5%of peppermint, 4) 0.5% of Zizaphora+ 0.5% of Menta pulagum + l%of peppermint, in the second experiment the experimental group included: 1) control (without using any medicinal herbs), 2) 1% of nettle + 0.5% of Menta pulagum + 0.5% of Zizaphora, 3) 0.5% of nettle + 1% of Menta pulagum + 0.5% of Zizaphora, 4) 0.5% of nettle + 0.5% of Menta pulagum + 1 % of Zizaphora, in the third experiment the experimental groups included: 1) control (without using any medicinal herbs, 2) 1% of Malva + 0.5% of Alhaji + 0.5% of Menta piprita, 3) 0.5% of Malva + 1% of Alhaji + 0.5% of Menta piprita, 4) 0.5% of Malva +0.5% of Alhaji + 1% of Menta piprita, in the fourth experiment experimental group included: 1) control (without using any medicinal herbs), 2) 1% of thyme + 0.5% of nettle + 0.5% of Lucern, 3) 0.5% of thyme + 1% of nettle + 0.5% of Lucern, 4) 0.5% of thyme + 0.5% of nettle + 1% of Lucern. The results showed that there were significantly difference between treatments in experiments about the carcass traits. In the first experiment the highest percents of carcass (70.76), and the lowest percents off abdominal fat (2.34) and digestive organ (6.34) in the second experiment the highest percents of carcass, breast meat (72.72) and (33.67) and the lowest percent of abdominal fat (3.4) and in the third experiment the highest percent of carcass (70.19) were observed in 3 experimental groups. The overall results indicated that in broilers using different mixtures of medicinal plants have positive effects on carcass traits.
