Self Defense and its Legitimacy Bases

Justifying self defense as a criminal law concept with the aim of protecting of the rights of an individual who is in threat of being attacked is an accepted issue in the society. But what is important is the foundation and philosophy of this justification. In this article, the researchers tried to find the philosophy of the justification of self defense, analyzing the proposed foundations in other resources. Finally they have found that the best foundation for this justification is the dignity of the attacked person and by discussing on it they proposed it as the best philosophy of self defense.
