Qualitative relation of Geographical Environment and National Security. (Methodology and Concepts)

Since the main topic of security is studying and examining overseas ties and relations between security elements of environment at local, regional and global levels and has close similarity with understudy topics in national security particularly at national, regional and global levels, it created ambiguity in terms of reason of being of both sciences of national security and geography and their relations and common or particular concepts and topics of both sciences among university students and researchers. The main question of present paper is that what is the main reason for similarity and closeness of geography and national security? In addition to this question, there are other questions which could be raised as follows: Among raised topics , the geography for protection of national security, because of its overseas and studying the relations between political sections has close similarity with security. And in terms of methodology of concepts, the «Scale» and «level of analysis)) have central roles for classification of information, limitness and range of variables. In terms of thinking schools and Methodology, there are also interesting similarities and differences between both sciences which has been expressed in this paper in detail.
