Methods of application and development strategies for information technology in Gilan city high schools

This study studied application and development strategies for information technology in Gilan city high schools. Survey and descriptive methods were used in the study. The sample included 70 high school managers, 150 high school teachers and 300 students who had been selected using multi-stage stratifies sampling. Data were collected using three researcher-made questionnaires for managers, teachers and students. Data analysis was conducted through both descriptive and inferential methods. The findings of this study indicated that Total mean score for the influence of educational, structural, administrative, motivational and recreational strategies in the application and development of informational technology in high schools indicated significantly above-medium statements by all the three groups. The influence of the strategies as regarded by the three groups differed significantly in term of mangerʹs gender and level of education, teacherʹs gender and field of study, studentʹs major of study and grade. Studentʹs total mean score was less than mangers and teacher in all the six strategies. The amount of the influence of the six strategies as viewed by the three groups of respondents were ranked as follows; motivational, recreational, managerial, educational, structural and administrative.
