در شناخت عقل از ديدگاه مولانا

عقل ترجمان روح و مفسّر اوست. اسم الله، جامع جميع اسما است و مظهر كلّي آن نور محمّدي است كه آن را به روح اعظم و عقل كل تعبير مي‌كنند. عقل در نزد عارفان وسيله‌ي عبادت خداوند است. در مقدّمه‌ي اين نوشتار نظر حكما و عرفاي اسلامي را به اختصار درباره‌ي عقل بيان مي‌كنيم. سپس ديدگاه مولانا را در اين‌باره در سه قسمت بررسي مي‌نماييم. استدلال، انتقال مفاهيم به شيوه‌ي عقلاني است، به همين دليل در قسمت اوّل، شيوه‌هاي استدلال مولانا را در مثنوي بررسي مي‌نماييم. در قسمت دوم، انواع عقل را از ديدگاه مولانا برمي‌شماريم و در قسمت سوم، نمادپردازي عقل را در مثنوي مطرح مي‌نماييم.

“Intellect” is the spiritʹs interpreter; the Name of God is the Assembler of all the names and its general locus of manifestation is the prophetic light (light of Mohammad) which has been interpreted as the “Greater Spirit” and “Universal Intellect”. In the view of the Sufis, “Intellect” is a means for worshipping God. In the preface of this piece of writing, the views of Islamic wise people and Sufis will be briefly explained, and then Maulanaʹs view on the Subject will be analyzed. Reasoning is the intellectual transfer of concepts; thus in the first part, Maulanaʹs method of reasoning in Mathnavi will be dealt with; in the second part, different types of intellect from Maulanaʹs view will be enumerated, and in the third part, Intellectʹs symbolizing reflected in Mathnvi will be studied.
