ارزيابي صلاحيت‌هاي باليني دانشجويان علوم پزشكي با استفاده از نرم افزار Electronic Patient Management Problem (EPMP)

Using Patient Management Problem (EPMP) in Assessment of Clinical Competency

مقدمه: در دهه‌هاي اخير تلفيق رويكرد پداگوژيك و رويكرد تكنولوژيك منجر به تغيير در ساختارهاي اصلي دانشگاه‌ها شده است. ظهور و كاربست آموزش الكترونيكي به ويژه در نظام ارزيابي و امتحانات دانشجويان علوم پزشكي، لزوم طراحي ابزارها و شيوه‌هاي نوين را ضروري ساخته است. اين پژوهش با هدف تبيين و طراحي نرم افزار EPMP به عنوان ابزار مناسب براي سنجش قدرت استدلال باليني و توان حل مساله دانشجويان طراحي شده است. روش‌ها: با توجه به ساختار آزمون PMP، نرم‌افزار مورد نظر به صورت Web-based به شكل سه لايه و شي‌گرا با استفاده از زبان برنامه‌نويسي C و Visual studio.Net و بهره‌گيري از پايگاه داده نرم‌افزار از نوع SQL server 2000 طراحي گرديده است و به منظور بهبود واسط كاربري آن از نرم‌افزارهاي تحت وب مثل Ajax و براي اجراي آن از يك مرورگر وب IEO6 استفاده شده است. نتايج: اين نرم‌افزار با شبيه‌سازي مشكل بيمار در قالب يك‌سري توضيحات متني همراه با تصاوير ثابت و متحرك، مشكل بيمار را مطرح نموده و با نمايش يك‌سري سوالات، امكان پيگيري مراحل اداره و درمان بيمار را براي دانشجو يا دستيار فراهم مي‌سازد. نتيجه‌گيري: با توجه به مطابقت نرم‌افزار طراحي شده با استانداردهاي بين‌المللي، نرم‌افزار مذكور در سطح دانشگاه و امتحانات بورد تخصصي رشته جراحي در كشور با استقبال اساتيد و دستياران رشته مذكور مواجه گرديد. بررسي يافته‌هاي نظرسنجي دستياران پس از برگزاري آزمون نيز نشانگر تمايل آنها به برگزاري اين آزمون‌ها با تكرار بيشتر و در طول دوره آموزش و نيز فراهم‌سازي زمينه ايجاد تسلط بيشتر دستياران در كار با رايانه را نشان مي‌دهد.

Introduction: In recent decades integration of pedagogic and technologic approaches resulted in a change in main structure of universities. Appearance and utility of electronic education especially in assessment system and examinations of medical students, necessitates designing new assessment methods and tools. This study is to discuss and design EPMP software as an appropriate tool for measurement of the ability in students’ clinical reasoning and problem solving. Methods: Regarding the structure of PMP examination, this software was designed in form of a three layer object generated using program C language and visual studio.Net with software base of SQL server 2000 as well as Ajax software to promote user interface (UI) to be used as an internet explorer IEO6. Results: This soft ware represents patients’ problem in form of some text hints and fixed and animated pictures through simulation and then with some questions, lets the student or assistant follow up patients’ management and treatment. Conclusion: Because of the consistency of the designed software with international standards, this was welcomed by faculty members and assistants in university level and board of examinations. Assistants’ survey results showed their desire to hold these examinations with more frequencies within their education period and the potentiality to enable them to work with computer more skillfully.
