Mystics and Listening to the Quran

چكيده: در قرآن، كريمه اي است كه بيانگر تاكيد قرآن بر «استماع» و «انصات» است. در اين آيه، اين دو لازم و ملزوم يكديگرند. در كتاب هاي صوفيه، حكايات بسياري است كه بر استماع قرآن و به‌عبارتي «نيوشيدن» آن دلالت دارد؛ حكاياتي كه در آن صوفي پس از شنيدن قرآن، چنان منقلب مي شود كه گاهي جان مي بازد. در اين نوشتار، پس از معرفي ثعلبي كه از گردآوردندگان اين حكايات است، به بررسي اين حكايات و بيان چندين حكايت پرداخته شده است. طبقه بندي اين حكايات با نظر به مستمعان آن از ديگر مواردي است كه به آن اشاره رفته است. در پايان به اين نتيجه رسيديم كه شماري از اين مستمعان تحت‌تاثير بعد جمالي و شماري ديگر تحت‌تاثير بعد جلالي قرآن قرار گرفته اند؛ در‌واقع هيبت و رهبت از‌سويي و شوق و رغبت قرآن از‌ديگرسو آنان را متاثر مي كند.

There is a verse in the holy Quran which indicates that the Holy Book lays emphasis on listening and fairness. According to this verse these two concepts go hand in hand. There are many anecdotes in the mystic books alluding to listening to or hearing of the recitation of the Quran. According to these anecdotes the mystics after listening to the Quran were so excited that many a time they passed away. The present paper is an attempt to introduce Tha’labi who is the compiler of these anecdotes and to study and introduce some of these anecdotes. Also the classification of these anecdotes in accordance to their audience is another issue that has been briefly discussed. The findings of the paper demonstrate that some of the audiences of these stories were influenced by the beauty aspect and others by the glory aspect of the holy Quran. In fact the glory on the one hand and excitation and interest on the other influenced them.
