Rehabilitating a Historical Epigraph from the Constitutional Era in the Big Arch of Taq-e Bostan

سنگ‌نبشته‌هايكي‌از مهم‌ترين آثارمكتوب تاريخي هستند كه اطلاعات فراواني ازگذشتگان براي ما به ارمغان مي‌آورند و بازخواني و رمزگشايي‌آنها كمك بسياري به شناخت پيشينه تاريخي وتمدني كشور مي‌نمايد. يكي از اين سنگ‌نبشته‌هاكه در «تاق بزرگِ تاق بستان»حجاري شده وسپس نابود گرديده موضوع اين مقاله است. هدف:هدف اين پژوهش، ارايه متن و سندي تاريخي است كه در تاق بزرگ تاق‌بستان بوده واكنون فقط ردي ازآن باقي‌مانده است. ديدن قاب خالي وبدون متن آن، كنجكاوي و پرسش‌هايي را درذهن هر بازديد‌كننده بر‌مي‌انگيزد كه آيا درون اين قاب، متني بوده است ؟ اگر متني وجود داشته با چه خط و زباني و در چه دوره تاريخي وبه دستور چه كسي نگاشته شده است؟اين مقاله براي اولين بار متن كتيبه، خوانده وارايه مي‌شود وبه پرسش‌هاي مطرح شده پاسخ مي‌دهد. روش/رويكرد پژوهش :براي رسيدن به اين هدف از دو روش پژوهش كتابخانه‌اي و ميداني استفاده شده است كه هركدام مكمل ديگري است.

Inscriptions are one of the most important written historical records. ey provide much information about past history. Reviewing and decrypting them can be very helpful in learning about the history and civilization of a country. e subject of this paper is one such inscription which had been engraved in the big arch of "Taq-e Bostan" and has since been destroyed. e aim of this research is to provide the text of a historical record that once existed in the big arch of Taq-e-Bostan, but of which only a trace remains. Seeing the empty frame of this historical epigraph raises questions in the mind of each visitor; was there a text in this frame? If there was a text, in what handwriting and in what language was it written? In what historical era was it written and by whose order? In this paper, the text of the epigraph is read and presented and the abovementioned questions are answered for the rst time. In order to reach this goal, complementary library and eld research methods were used.
