The Transmutation and the Mystical and Literary Function of Illumination

از ديرزمان، عنصر نور در اسطوره، تاريخ و فلسفه جهان‌شناسي اقوام گوناگون حضور داشته است. بنا بر كاركردهاي متنوع نور (مثل مفاهيم قدسي، عقلاني، هستي‌شناختي، هدايتگري وزيباشناسي)، اين سير تاريخي از مصر باستان و با آيين هرمس آغاز مي‌شود و در انديشه زردشت، تنوّع وگستردگي مي‌يابد. دين يهود، مكتب گنوس، آيين صابيين مندايي و دين عيساي ناصري(ع) با تاثيرپذيري از يكديگر در انتقال انديشه اشراقي نقش داشته‌اند. اوج حضور مفاهيم نوراني با شاكله عقلاني، در دين مبين اسلام مشاهده مي‌شود. با توجه به اينكه محور اين نوشتار بررسي متون ادبي وعرفاني است، مشاهده مي‌شود كه در سه اثر: الطواسين از حلاج، عبهرالعاشقين از روزبهان بقلي و آواز پر جبرييل از سهروردي، نور در وصف وحدانيّت خداوند و قداست وجود نبيّ اكرم، جمال الهي و انساني، مراتب وجود و فرشته‌شناسي نقش موثّري ايفا مي‌كند. در حقيقت، وسعت مشرب عرفان و ادب ايراني، با تكيه بر مباني اسلامي، كليّتي از انديشه خردورزان كهن را منعكس مي‌كند.

Illumination, a perpetual concept in mythology, history and cosmology of diverse populations, is provenance of Hermes rituals in ancient Egypt enjoying various functions of divinity, intellectuality, ontology, guidance and aestheticism. Yet, its function was extensively multiplied in Zoroastrian theology. The conjoint impact of diverse religions of Judaism, Gnosticism, Christianity and ‘Sabeen Mandaee’ played a significant role in the transference of the illumination thought. However, its apogee was reached in Islam on the basis of intellect. An analysis of the literary and mystical writings of Hall?j, R?zbeh?n and Sohreward?, indicate that illumination in these texts stand for the unity of God, the sanctity of Islam’s prophet, the Divine and Human Beauty, ontological status and angelology. The results of this inquiry suggest that the vast disposition of Sufism and Persian literature, relying on the Islamic principles, reflects a totality of ancient savants’ ideas.
