همه‌ي كشورها براساس مجموعه‌اي از عوامل و معيارها از جمله محيط جغرافيايي، تهديدهاي متصور، منابع و توانمندي‌ها و راهبرد دفاعي خود، آرايش و منطقه‌بندي نظامي شان را تعريف و تنظيم مي‌كنند. اين تحقيق با هدف تعيين عوامل موثر در منطقه‌بندي نظامي كشور با انگيزه‌ها و كاركردهاي مختلف و از جمله كاركرد نهاد نظامي انجام گرفته است، تا پاسخ‌گوي اين پرسش باشد كه عوامل موثر بر منطقه بندي نظامي كشور براي اين كه؛ نيروهاي مسلح بتوانند از مناطق مسووليت خود به خوبي دفاع كنند و ماموريت‌هاي گوناگون را انجام بدهند، كدامند و يا به عبارت ديگر چه ويژگي‌هايي در منطقه‌بندي نظامي اثرگذار است؟ باتوجه به هدف و سوال مطرح شده در اين تحقيق، روش پژوهش حاضر، توصيفي ازنوع زمينه يابي بوده و پس از مطالعات كتابخانه‌اي گسترده و بررسي نظرات صاحب‌نظران و خبرگان و جامعه‌آماري پژوهشگران و استادان متخصص و صاحب نظر، در نهايت 22 عامل كه براساس ماهيت به 3 طيف عمده : عوامل دفاعي و امنيتي، عوامل جغرافيايي، عوامل زيرساختي تقسيم مي شوند و بيشترين تاثير را بر منطقه‌بندي نظامي كشور دارند احصا گرديد.براي تجزيه تحليل د اده ها از شاخص هاي آما ر توصيفي واستنباطي استفاده شده است.

All countries define and arrange their military regionalization and military build up based on a collection of elements and criteria including geographical environment, imaginative threats, sources and powers as well as their defense strategy. The present research has been conducted based on theoretical studies of regionalization with different motivations and performances including military performance, to such an extent that be able to answer this question that which type of regionalization is suitable for armed forces to be able to defend well from their responsibility regions and can carry out various missions? In other words, which characteristics impact on military regionalization? And, what are the effective elements in the military regionalization of country? Given the aim and raised question in this research, the research methodology is descriptive and field finding type. After widespread library studies and reviewing the viewpoints of pundits and elites and carrying out numerous discussions of professors and researchers group, finally 22 factors in which according to their nature have been divided into 3 primary spectrums including defense and security factors, geographical factors and infra structural factors which have the most impacts on military regionalization of country have been introduced. For analysing the data, the indices of descriptive and understanding statistics have been used
