عوامل تعيين‌كننده روابط ايران و چين

روابط ايران با چين به‌گونه‌اي روزافزون در كليت سياست خارجي ايران اهميت مي‌يابد. با عنايت به اين موضوع مقاله حاضر در پي تبيين متغيرهاي شكل‌دهنده به اين روابط است. به بيان ديگر پرسش كليدي مقاله اين است كه چه متغيرهايي به روابط ايران و چين در وضعيت كنوني شكل مي‌دهند؟ از نظر نويسنده، «برخي همپوشاني‌ها در سياست خارجي دو كشور، مبادلات اقتصادي و نظامي و همكاري در حوزه انرژي، عوامل توسعه‌بخش روابط دو كشورند. از ديگر سو انتخاب استراتژيك چين و روابط همكاري‌جويانه اين كشور با قدرت‌هاي غربي، عوامل محدودكننده اين روابط به‌شمار مي‌آيند». نويسنده معتقد است عوامل محدودكننده در سال‌هاي اخير نقش مهم‌تري در شكل‌دهي به روابط سياسي دو كشور ايفا كرده‌اند، به‌گونه‌اي كه روابط سياسي طرفين نسبت به گذشته محدود شده و روابط تجاري به‌عنوان مهم‌ترين حوزه همكاري‌هاي دو كشور مطرح شده است.

Iranʹs relations with China are increasingly gaining importance in Iranʹs foreign policy as a whole. Given this fact, this article tries to explain variables shaping these relations. In other words, the main question posed by this article is which factors shape Iran-china relation in the present circumstances? The author believes that some overlaps in the foreign policy of the two countriesʹ economic and military exchanges as well as cooperation in the energy sector are contributing to the expansion of bilateral relations. On the other hand, Chinaʹs strategic choices and its cooperative relations with Western powers are among restrictive factors regarding Iran-China relations. The author believes that restrictive factors have played a more important role in shaping the political relations of the two countries in recent years. Thus, these relations have become more restricted compared to the past and trade relations constitute the most important area of cooperation between the two countries at the present time.
