طرح ادغام سرشاخه خوشه طب سنتي ايران در ساختار ابَراصطلاحنامه « نظام زبان واحد پزشكي (UMLS)»

Mapping Scheme of Traditional Iranian Medicine Cluster’s Crotch in the Structure of Metathesaurus of Unified Medical Language System (UMLS)

زمينه و هدف: نظام زبان واحد پزشكي (Unified Medical Language System=UMLS) يك هستي شناسي كلان در حوزه زيست پزشكي است. طب سنتي ايران فاقد جايگاهي در ساختار ابَراصطلاحنامه «نظام زبان واحد پزشكي » مي باشد. هدف اصلي اين پژوهش، ارايه طرحي جهت ترسيم جايگاه سرشاخه خوشه هاي طب سنتي ايران در ساختارِ ابَراصطلاحنامه نظام زبان واحد پزشكي «يو ام ال اس» و تبيين جايگاه و سهم طب سنتي ايراني در واژگان و مفاهيم دانش جهاني پزشكي است. روش بررسي: روش بررسي اين مطالعه روش تحليل سيستم است. با استفاده از روش تحليل سيستم و با رويكردهاي استقرايي، قياسي و نيز تطبيقي يا استقرايي- قياسي، ابَراصطلاحنامه نظام زبان واحد پزشكي مورد تجزيه و تحليل قرار گرفت. يافته ها: يك شناسگر واحد مفهوم (CUI=(Concept Unite Identifier، دو اصطلاح مترادف با شناسگرهاي واحد اصطلاح (LUI = Lexical Unite Identifier) L0025131 و L6330122، دو مفهوم والد (parent) و نيا (ancestor)، نُه مفهوم كه به همراه سرشاخه طب سنتي ايران به عنوان مفاهيم فرزند (child concepts) دو مفهوم والد و نياي فوق بودند، هجده مفهوم هم نيا (silbling concepts)، شش مفهوم اخص و پنج مفهوم مرتبط ديگر براي سرشاخه پيشنهادي طب سنتي ايران يافت شد و گونه معنايي (semantic type) «رشته يا حرفه زيست پزشكي» به آن اختصاص يافت. نتيجه گيري: نتايج نشان داد كه دامنه فعلي ابَراصطلاحنامه نظام زبان واحد پزشكي، جايگاه و دامنه اي كامل و رسمي از دانش طب سنتي ايران ارايه نمي كند و به همين دليل، اين ابَراصطلاحنامه نيازمند تبيين جايگاه و دامنه اي براي سرشاخه خوشه طب سنتي ايراني است.

Background and Aim : Background & Aim: Unified Medical Language System (UMLS) is an extensive ontology of biomedical knowledge developed and maintained by U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM). Traditional Iranian Medicine (TIM) does not have any position in the structure of metathesaurus of UMLS. The main aim of this study was designing a scheme of TIM cluster’s crotch mapping in the structure of metathesaurus of UMLS. Moreover, the TIM position and its proportion in the domain of vocabulary and concepts of universal medical knowledge was another aim of this study. Materials and Methods: System analysis was the method of this study. To investigate structure of UMLS metathesaurus, and to survey lacking of TIM cluster’s crotch, we applied UMLS Knowledge Source (KS) by using inductive, deductive, inductive-deductive approaches. Results: One Concept Unique Identifier (CUI); two synonym terms with Lexical Unique Identifier (LUI), L0025131 and L6330122; two ancestor and parent concept; nine concepts which with TIM crotch were the child concepts of two ancestor and parent; eighteen sibling concepts; six narrower; and five other related found concepts were identified for the proposal TIM crotch mapping in metathesaurus of UMLS. In addition, we found the “Biomedical Occupation or Discipline” semantic type assigned to it. Conclusions: Current domain of metathesaurus of UMLS does not represent complete and formal domain and position of TIM. Therefore, this metathesaurus needs to depict a domain and position for TIM.
