جوزف الهاشم، يكي از شاعران برجسته مسيحي لبنان در روزگار ما مي باشد كه در ژرفاي شعر متعهّد و مقاومش، پيوندي از انديشه هاي مسيحي و ارزش هاي دين اسلام ارايه مي دهد. اين شاعر توانمند توانسته است، دوستي و ستايش اهل بيت(ع) را با روح پايداري و پايمردي مردم فلسطين و لبنان، پيوند دهد. وي در انديشه اساسي شعرش، بر آن است تا با فراخواني شخصيّت هاي ديني- تاريخي تشيّع و نكوهش تسليم و سازش در برابر رژيم صهيونيستي، اراده ملت هاي اسلامي را عليه اشغالگران برانگيزاند و روح اميد و ميهن دوستي را در ميان ايشان بدمد. بيشتر انديشه هايي كه شاعر در چكامه هايش، مطرح مي كند، برگرفته از سيره اهل بيت(ع) است. چنين مضمون هايي از سوي يك شاعر مسيحي، ارزشمند و ستودني است. محورهاي اساسي اين پژوهش، عبارتند از: 1) پيشگفتاري درباره كليّات پژوهش و معرّفـي جايگاه شاعر و اشاره اي گذرا به برخي از شاعران مسيحي معاصر كه توانسته اند ادبيات متعهّد شيعي را با ادبيات پايداري پيوند دهند. 2) پردازش و تحليل موضوع از دو زاويه: الف) بررسي و تحليل پيوندهاي ادبيات شيعه و پايداري در شعر شاعر. ب) تحليل تعهّد ملّي و وطن دوستي شاعر كه همراه با بيان افتخارهاي تاريخي گذشته لبنان و فلسطين و نكوهش و محكوم نمودن سكوت و سازش در برابر اشغالگران مي باشد. واقعيّت چهره اين اشغالگران در شعر جوزف الهاشم، چيزي جز دروغ، تجاوز، فساد و نيرنگ نيست.

Joseph Al-Hashem is one of the prominent contemporary Christian poets of Lebanon. He presents a link in the in depths of his committed poem of resistance between Christian thoughts and religions Islamic values. This capable poet has managed to link the friendship and praise of the Household of the prophet Mohammad (Ahl-ol- Beit) (PBUT) with the resistance and fortitude of Palestinian and Lebanese people in his committed poetry. The dominant thought in his poetry is that he summons the religious and historical characters in Shiism and criticizes them for comprising with, or surrendering to the Zionist Regime of Israel. In this way, he wants to stimulate hope and patriotism among The Islamic Nations as well as inciting them to fight against the occupiers. Most of the thoughts that the poet presents in his odes are drawn from the wisdom and the lifestyle of the Household (PBUT). These kinds of contents from a Christian poet are admirable and valuable. The fundamental bases of this paper were as follows: 1. A preface about the basics of the research and introducing the poet’s stance, and a glancing reference to some of the contemporary Christian poets who had managed to relate the committed Shiitic literature to the resistance literature. 2. Analyzing and processing the subject from two different angles: A) analysis of the links between shiitic literature and resistance literature in the work of the poet, B) Analysis of the poet’s national commitment and patriotism which was accompanied by expressing the past historic honors of Lebanon and Palestine as well as a reproach to silence and conciliation in front of the occupiers. The real face of the occupiers in the poems of this poet was presented as a lie, aggression, corruption and deception.
