زبان و هويت در ميدان رسانه‌اي غرب:‏ ايران به مثابه «ديگري»‏

Language and Identity in the west Media Field:‎ Iran as "the other"‎

اين مقاله با تكيه بر متغير واسط زبان، به بررسي رابطه ميدان گفتماني ‏رسانه‌اي غرب و گفتمان خود ـ ديگرساز شرق‌شناسي در ارتباط با ايران ‏مي‌پردازد. با بهره آزادانه از مفاهيم نظريه زباني بورديو و نيز تحليل گفتمان ‏انتقادي مي‌توان گفت ميدان گفتماني رسانه در غرب متاثر از ميدان گفتماني ‏سياسي بوده و سوژه رسانه‌اي غرب نه سوژه‌اي خودمختار بلكه محصور ‏گفتمان غالب در اين جوامع در مورد ايران پساانقلاب است. بررسي ‏نمونه‌هايي از متن‌هاي سرمقاله‌هاي نشريه‌ها و مستندهاي سياسي برجسته ‏رسانه‌هاي غربي نشان مي‌دهد ميدان رسانه‌اي همسو با ميدان سياسي، زباني ‏برجسته‌سازي‌شده را بازتوليد و منتشر مي‌كند و مفاهيم و گزاره‌هاي آن ‏همان «بازار زباني» گفتمان ريشه‌دار شرق‌شناسي را از رهگذر مفصل‌بندي ‏دال‌هاي جديدي چون تروريسم، سلاح هسته‌اي، غير دموكراتيك بودن و... ‏بازتوليد مي‌كند. حاصل آنكه در اين ميدان نيز گفتمان مسلط سياسي غرب، ‏‏«هويت خود را از رهگذر زبان منتشر و ايران را به مثابه «ديگري» غرب ‏بازنمايي و طرد مي‌كند.‏

Emphasizing on language as a mediator variant, this article deals with the ‎relationship between the discursive field of the Western media regarding ‎Iran and the same/other discourse of orientalism. Using Bourdieuʹs language ‎theory and the critical discourse Analysis, we can say that the discursive ‎sphere of media in relation with post-revolutionary Iran is affected by the ‎political field in the West and the subject of the western media is not an ‎autonomous subject but is embedded by the dominant discourse in these ‎societies. The examination of some texts of editorials and political ‎documentaries of the Western media shows that they reproduce and ‎disseminate a highlighted language which is politically oriented and its ‎concepts and propositions reproduce the very "linguistic market of orientalist ‎discourse by articulating new signifiers as terrorism, nuclear weapon, not ‎being democratic and so on. Consequently in this discursive field, the ‎western dominant discourse disseminates its identity through language and ‎represents and denies Iran as its other‎
