Accurate diagnosis of the emotional and behavioral disorder in children with ‎hyperactivity symptom by using artificial neural network

در سال‌هاي اخير اختلالات رفتاري در ميان كودكان و نوجوانان بسيار ‏شايع شده است. تعداد زيادي از اين كودكان توسط والدين و آموزگاران ‏خود طرد مي‌شوند و شانس تحصيل و رشد طبيعي را از دست مي‌دهند ‏و زندگي آينده آن‌ها نيز تحت تاثير قرار خواهد گرفت. از آن جا كه ‏تشخيص و درمان هر چه سريع‌تر اين كودكان اهميت زيادي دارد، ‏يكي از اقدامات بسيار مهم ارزيابي رفتارهاي آنان در موقعيت‌هاي ‏مختلف و تشخيص دقيق نوع اختلال است. با توجه به شيوع زياد ‏اختلالات اضطراب، افسردگي، سلوك و اختلال نقص توجه/ بيش ‏فعالي در ميان كودكان و شباهت‌هاي ميان علايم آن‌ها، تلاش جهت ‏طراحي يك شبكه عصبي هوشمند براي كمك به تشخيص دقيق و ‏سريع اين اختلالات صورت گرفت. نمونه شامل 145 كودك پسر ‏مبتلا به اختلال عاطفي- رفتاري (شامل اختلالات نقص توجه/ بيش ‏فعالي، اضطراب و سلوك) و 65‏‎ ‎كودك پسر با رفتار طبيعي بود. جهت ‏طراحي سيستم از يك طبقه‌بندي كننده شبكه عصبي چند لايه ‏پرسپترون استفاده شد. در نهايت، ميانگين دقت شبكه طراحي شده در ‏طبقه‌بندي به 31/95 رسيد. دقت طبقه‌بندي شبكه عصبي طراحي شده ‏به اندازه‌اي است كه مي‌تواند در كنار پزشك به عنوان يك دستيار به ‏كار بسته شود و دقت تشخيص را به ميزان زيادي افزايش دهد.‏

One of the noticeable changes during recent years is ‎the increased incidence of behavioral disorders ‎among children and teenagers. Most of the affected ‎individuals are rejected by their parents and teachers, ‎decreasing their chances of normal development and ‎their future life will be affected. Evaluation of the ‎child’s behavior in different situations and accurate ‎diagnosis is very important. Due to high incidence of ‎Anxiety, depression, conduct and attention deficit ‎and Hyperactivity Disorders among children, the ‎intelligent artificial neural network was designed to ‎help for early and accurate diagnosis of these ‎disorders.‎‏ ‏A multilayer perception artificial neural ‎network was proposed. Samples were consisted of ‎‎145 children with behavioral disorders (including ‎attention deficit and Hyperactivity Disorders, ‎anxiety, and conduct) and 65 children with normal ‎behavior. Multilayer perception neural network was ‎used to design the system. The percentage of correct ‎classification with the designed network was ‎achieved to 95.31. The accuracy of this artificial ‎neural network is high enough to increase the ‎accuracy of the diagnosis and it can be used as a ‎reliable assistant for the psychiatrists.‎
