The Social Behavior of Drivers and its Importance in the Urban Community

رفتارهاي رانندگان يكي از مهم‌ترين حوادث، تصادفات جاده‌اي است كه باعث مرگ و مير و زخمي‌شدن شمار زيادي از افراد و خسارات كلان مي شود. نوع رفتار اجتماعي رانندگان به‌عنوان يك معضل جدي در جامعه محسوب مي شود كه بايد در جهت جلوگيري از اين معضل به‌دنبال تمهيدات و برنامه هاي اساسي بود. بدين ترتيب، چگونگي رفتارهاي اجتماعي رانندگان زماني اهميت مي‌يابند كه بتوانند ع?وه بر تهديد زندگي خودشان، س?متي و زندگي افراد ديگر را نيز تهديدكند. بديهي است با شناسايي انواع رفتارها و تعيين سهم هر كدام از اعمال يادشده و هم‌چنين شناسايي عوامل تأثيرگذار بر آن‌‌ها ميتوان از طريق اتخاذ تدابير ?زم با اص?ح رفتارهاي غير اجتماعي رانندگان از بروز حوادث رانندگي كاست. بنابراين، بررسي رفتارهاي غيراجتماعي رانندگان و يافتن روش هاي اص?ح آن ازجمله عوامل موثر در بهبود عملكرد و كاهش شمار تصادفات و افزايش سلامت جامعه شهري است. در نتيجه برنامه‌ريزي مناسب و ارتقاي سطح آگاهي و مهارت‌هاي رانندگان در زمينه مسايل ايمني ترافيك و تصادفات و تمركز برروي پيامد و نتايج ناگوار ناشي از حوادث ترافيكي به‌نحوي كه در جهت تغيير عادت‌هاي نادرست رانندگي و ناشايست نشان دادن تخلفات و سرپيچي از قوانين و مقررات هدف‌گذاري شود، مي‌تواند بسياري از رفتارهاي غير اجتماعي رانندگان را كنترل و از تصادفات و تلفات شديد جلوگيري كرده و ضمن ارتقا و بهبود وضعيت رفتارهاي اجتماعي رانندگان؛ نسبت به ارتقاي سبك زندگي، بهبود و افزايش سلامت زندگي جامعه شهري تاثيرگذار باشد.

The behavior of drivers is one of the most important factors with regards to road accidents that cause mortality, serious injury to large numbers of people and considerable damage to property. The type of social behavior that drivers exhibit is a serious problem for the community, which requires certain measures and a program of behavior correction to remedy the problem. These measures are essential to preventing the problem of societal detriment due to antisocial driving. This problem is of such importance because antisocial driving not only threatens the driver’s life, but also the lives of other road users and pedestrians. It is clear that identifying the types of social driving behaviors and determining the contribution of each behavior type to this problem allows generation of suitable measures with regards to non-social behavior modification of drivers. This may in turn allow reduction in the incidence of traffic accidents due to this problem. Therefore to identify the non-social behaviors of drivers and to find ways to improve driver performance and reduce the number of contributing detrimental factors will result in reduction of accidents and improvement in the health and well-being of the urban population is increasing. Consequently, proper planning and improvements in the knowledge and skills of drivers with regards to traffic safety issues and accidents is vital, and there must be a focus on the adverse outcomes resulting from traffic incidents. In order to change bad driving habits and improper behaviors, and also reduce violation of rules and regulations, there must be a regime of goal-setting. With regards to many non-social behaviors, drivers can control and prevent serious accidents and fatalities, with the result that the social status of drivers is improved. This will result in benefits to lifestyle and health, with a subsequent increase to the urban population.
