زمان، هويت و روايت: چگونگي فهم زمان در روايت هاي تخيّلي غرب و ايران

A Comparative Study of Perceiving Time in Western and Iranian Fictional Narrative

زمان استعاره اي است كه خود را با گذار، تكرار و مكان نشان مي‌دهد و انسان تنها موجودي است كه با اين استعاره، هم استمرار مي‌يابد و هم خود را مي‌شناسد. روايت‌هاي تخيلي عالي‌ترين ساختارهايي هستند كه زمان وجودي انسان را نشان مي‌دهند. از اين‌رو، هم هويت‌سازند و هم تحت تاثير هويت‌ها. اين مقاله با بررسي شكل‌هاي زمان در روايت‌هاي تخيلي نشان مي‌دهد كه چگونه در هر برهه‌اي، منجر به هويت‌هاي ويژه شده‌اند. اين هويت‌ها نه تنها در بازتوليد روايت‌ها به‌گونه‌اي زمان را تاويل كرده‌اند، بلكه به شكلي به تاويل و تببين خود نيز پرداخته‌اند. اصلي‌ترين مساله اين تحقيق آن است كه روايت‌هاي تخيّلي ايران به شكل روايت‌هاي تخيّلي غرب، زمان را تجزيه نكرده‌اند؛ از اين‌رو، انسانِ ايراني چه در توليد روايت‌هاي تخيّلي و چه در دريافت آن، ديرتر به تخيّلِ تاريخي رسيده و بيشتر متاثر از تخيّلِ تمثيليِ گفتمانِ عرفاني بوده است.

Time is a metaphor that shows itself in transition, repetition and space; Man is the only being who endures and knows himself in metaphor. Fictional narratives are the most distinguished structures to represent man’s existential time, so they not only cause identities but are affected by them. This article tries to prove, through tracing out the different interpretations of time in fictional narratives (myth, epic, legend and tale, romance, historical novel and novel) that they have introduced new identities to each specific period. These identities, apart from interpreting time, have interpreted themselves. Te central idea of the article is that Iranian fictional narratives have experienced time differently, compared to the western narratives, and as a result, Iranians, being primarily influenced by the analogical imagination of mystic discourse, have experienced the historical narratives much later.
