The Zikri Religious Sect in Balochistan

ذكري‌ها فرقه مذهبي باطني‌گرايي‌اند كه در بلوچستان پاكستان آشكارا و در بلوچستان ايران پنهاني مي‌زيَند. به‌رغم اينكه باورهاي آنان همانند فرقه‌هاي باطني است، از صوفيه نيز بسيار تاثير پذيرفته‌اند؛ چنان‌كه عقايدشان را آميزه‌اي از اعتقادات متصوفه، اسماعيليه و مهدويت تشيع و فرهنگ و آداب و سنت‌هاي محلي مي‌توان دانست. آنان بر پايه آميزش عقايد باطني، فلسفه وحدت وجود، تاويل قرآن و غيبت حضرت مهدي(عج) و عقايدصوفيانه، مذهب ذكري را پديد آورده‌اند. ذكري‌ها به تحريف بسياري از مناسك و عبادات مذهبي پرداخته و بدعت‌هايي آورده‌اند. آنان بيش‌تر به ذكر مي‌پردازند و عقايد ويژه‌اي دارند. ميان ذكري‌ها و اهل‌سنت بلوچستان ايران در دوره رضاشاه اختلاف‌هايي پيش آمد كه به درگيري آنان با يك‌ديگر نيز انجاميد، اما كوشش‌هاي آنان كم شد و اكنون در بلوچستان، بندر عباس، سرباز و برخي از ديگر جاي‌ها پنهاني زندگي مي‌كنند، اما ذكري‌هاي بلوچستانِ پاكستان از نفوذ فراواني برخوردارند و به‌ويژه در مبارزه‌هاي پارلماني و حزبي تاثير مي‌گذارند و تا كنون چندين بار كرسي‌هاي پارلماني مناطق زير نفوذشان را به دست آورده‌اند. اين مسيله قابل تامل است كه عربستان در سال‌هاي اخير به‌رغم گرايش‌هاي شيعي ذكري‌ها، در جلب و جذب آنان بسيار كوشيده است.

The Zikris are an “Bateni religious” sect living openly in Pakistan and secretly in Balochistan. Despite the fact that their beliefs resemble those of esoteric sects, they have been heavily influenced by Sufism; in a way that their beliefs are assumed to be a mixture of Sufism, Ismailism, Mahdavism plus local customs and traditions. They formed Zikri religious through combining esoteric beliefs, philosophy of unity of existence, Ta’wil of Qu’ran, the occultation of Imam Mahdi (atfs) and Sufi mystics. The Zikris started altering some religious ceremonies and services and introduced some heresies. They have their own special beliefs and prayers. There were disputes between the Zikris and the Sunni Muslims living in Balochistan, Iran during Reza Shah Dynasty which eventually led to a fight between the two parties. But the Zikris’ attempts were in vain and they are now living surreptitiously in Balochistan, Bandar Abbas and some other regions. Contrary to them, the Zikris in Balochistan of Pakistan enjoy a great influence and they play a crucial role in parliamentary fights and have succeeded in occupying parliamentary seats of their due regions a number of times. What is worth of attention is that Saudi Arabia has recently been attempting to attract the Zikris, despite their Shi’a inclinations.
