The Similarities of Vis and Ramin and Bahman-name

بهمن‌نامه يكي از منظومه هاي مهم حماسي پيرو شاهنامه است كه در اواخر قرن پنجم يا اوايل قرن ششم سروده شده است. اين منظومه از چهار بخش تشكيل شده كه بخش اول آن ماجراي بر تخت نشستن بهمن و ازدواج او با دختر پادشاه كشمير است. بخش اول اين اثر، منظومه عاشقانه مستقلي است كه ويژگي هاي يك اثر غنايي برجسته را دارد. در اين مقاله با مقايسه دو داستان نشان داده شده كه اين بخش منظومه در مواردي چون توصيف صحنه ها، شخصيت پردازي، استفاده از مضامين، نوع حوادث، شيوه روايت، ضرب‌المثل‌ها و.... تشابه بسيار زيادي به ويس و رامين فخرالدين اسعد گرگاني دارد.

Bahman-name, a late 5th-century (A.H.) or early 6th-century (A.H.) epic poem, is one of those significant poems that used the Shah-name as a model. This story was composed by ?ranshah in four parts. The first part recounts the adventures of Bahman, son of Esfand?ar, who, at the behest of Rostam, marries Katay?n, the daughter of the king of Kashmir. Although generally this poem belongs to the epic genre, the first part is more lyrical in nature than heroic. In fact this part comes close to being a distinct love story. By comparing the narratives of Vis and Ramin and Bahman-name, the author, in this study, is trying to show that ?ranshah, in writing his book, not only benefited from Vis and Ramin as a model, but he also used this book for depiction of scenes, developing the characters, selecting stories and themes, types of events, styles of narrative, parables.
