چكيده از واژه مردم‌سالاري ديني، برداشت‌هاي متعددي ارايه شده است. در برخي از اين برداشت‌ها، مردم‌سالاري ديني امري تركيبي در قالب دموكراسي روشي تبيين شده و در برخي ديگر، به مثابه امري بسيط تلقي شده است. برداشت آيت‌الله جوادي آملي از اين اصطلاح در دسته دوم قرار مي‌گيرد كه آن را تركيبي از دموكراسي و دين نمي‌دانند؛ بلكه داراي سرشتي واحد و برگرفته از دين مي‌شمارند. مقاله حاضر با مطالعه آثار آيت‌الله جوادي آملي تلاش مي‌كند به گونه اي روشمند، برداشت وي از مردم‌سالاري ديني را استخراج نموده، مفهوم آن را در كنار مفاهيم هستي، وحي، عقل، انسان و جامعه كه مهم‌ترين مفاهيم در منظومه فكري و مفهومي ايشان است، بازسازي و ارايه نمايد. مردم‌سالاري ديني الگويي از نظام سياسي است كه بر پايه اصل خضوع مردم در ساحت قدس الهي، در چارچوب هدايت دين و نهاد ديني، تدبير عقلاني مردم و حاكميت آنها به رسميت شناخته مي‌شود. كليدواژه‌ها: مردم‌سالاري ديني، هستي، وحي، عقل، انسان، جامعه، انديشه سياسي.

The People’s Religious Republic According to Ayatullah Jaw?d? Amul? Dr. MansUr M?rAImad? Abstract: Many interpretations have been offered with regard to the term mardums?l?r?yed?n?(lit. “the people’s religious rule/republic”) or “religious democracy”. In some of these interpretations, the concept has been elucidated as a compound matter in the form of democracy; in other interpretations, it is likened to a simple and monolithic concept. AyatullahJaw?d?Amul?’s understanding of this termcorresponds to the second type—i.e., he does not consider the concept as a mixture of religion and democracy; rather, he views it as one possessing a unified nature deriving from religion itself.Through an examination of his works, this article seeks to ascertain the views of AyatullahJaw?d?Amul?regarding the term“the people’s religious republic”. By focussing on concepts such as existence, revelation, the intellect, man, and society—which compose the most important concepts in his analytic and conceptual framework—his views on “the people’s religious republic”are reconstructed and presented in a methodical manner.Mardums?l?r?yed?n? is a model of a politic which is formally identified in the following way: it is based on the subservience of society within the threshold of the Divine; it subsists in the framework of divine guidance and religious institutions; andit is in line with the rational management of people and their governance.
