بررسي ارتباط نمادهاي شهري با هويت شهر(مطالعه ي موردي: شهرگنبدكاووس)

Analyzing the relation of urban symbol with city identity (A case study of Gonbad Kavoos)

امروزه با عدم رعايت شهرسازي بومي؛ شهرهاي ما دچار بحران هويت شده و هرچه مي‌گذرد اين بحران گسترده‌تر و عميق‌تر مي‌شود. در مباحث شهري، نمادهاي شهري يا همان المان‌هاي شهري بناهاي مهم از لحاظ معماري و طراحي هستند كه در داخل شهر و در حيطه يك تجربه قراردادي ما بين شهروندان، معناگذاري مي‌شوند، به نحوي كه گاه حتي از خود شهر پر اهميت تر جلوه مي‌نمايند زيرا بيانگر هويت، شخصيت و عصاره شهر در يك ساختار نمايان هستند و در خوانش شهروندان از شهر و محيط زيستي شان تاثير مستقيم بر جاي مي‌گذارند. در اين پژوهش از روش تحقيق پيمايشي بهره برده شد و براي انجام آن ابتدا مطالعات اكتشافي بصورت كتابخانه‌اي و بازديدهاي مقدماتي صورت گرفت و مطالعه ميداني با استفاده از پرسشنامه انجام شد. نتايج مطالعه نيز نشان مي‌دهد نمادهاي شهري از عناصر اصلي هويت بخشي به شهرها هستد، ليكن به جز برج قابوس كه نماد اصلي و تاريخي شهر است. سمبل جديدي بخصوص در ميادين شهر طراحي نشده و حتي تك نماد منحصر به فرد شهر بعنوان بلندترين برج آجري دنيا به مردم ايران و جهان به خوبي معرفي نشده است

Our cities experienced identity crises due to the ignorance of the native urbanism and it becomes worse by the course of time. In urbanism, urban symbol or urban element are important structures in architecture and design which are conceptualized inside the city in the sphere of convectional experience among the citizens; so that sometimes are more manifested that the city itself. Because they indicate identity, prestige and the assets of a city by the structures and play important role in the reading of people about city and their living environment. In this study a field research was conducted to collect that data via questionnaire completion and provide a general reading of the place. Also the research exploited secondary sources to develop conceptual context of the subject. The results revealed urban symbols are the main elements of urban identity which Gonbad kavoos tower is the central focal of the city. At present there is not any new effort to create new element as symbol of the city and it seems that even the only tower of the city has not been introduced to national and international market as the tallest brick tower of the world
