World Natural Gas Market or World Markets of Natural Gas?

در اين مقاله به بررسي هم‎گرايي متقابل قيمت گاز در مناطق امريكاي شمالي، اروپا و ژاپن, پرداخته شده ‏‏است، بدين‏منظور، هم‎گرايي متقابل قيمت گازطبيعي در اين مناطق به دو روش آناليز اجزاي اصلي (PCA) و آزمون يوهانسون - يوسيليوس مورد بررسي قرارگرفته است. نتايج به‌دست آمده نشان‏ مي‏دهد كه قيمت‏ گازطبيعي در مركز توزيعHenry Hub و قيمت گازطبيعي منتقل شده توسط خط‏ لوله در كانادا، داراي هم‎گرايي متقابل مي‏باشند و نيز قيمت گازطبيعي در NBP، قيمت گازطبيعي منتقل شده توسط خط‏ لوله در اروپا و قيمت LNG در ژاپن داراي هم‎گرايي متقابل هستند. هم‎چنين بررسي‏ها حاكي از آن است كه واكنش تغيير قيمت گازطبيعي در منطقه‎ي اروپا و ژاپن به تغييرات قيمت نفت‏خام, حساس‏تر از واكنش قيمت گازطبيعي در بازار آمريكاي شمالي مي‏باشد. طبقه‏بندي JEL : C01, C29, F59, L14, L16.

We analyze the changes of Natural Gas Prices in the different regions using principal components analysis (PCA) and Johanson and Joselius tests method. The study results show us that Henry Hub Natural Gas Prices and those of Natural Gas transported by pipeline in Canada are Co-integrated and have a long run relationship. We also observe that prices of Natural Gas transported by pipeline in Europe are Co-integrated with Japan LNG Prices. The study further indicates that European and Japanese Natural Gas Prices are more responsive to Oil Price Fluctuations than North America Gas Prices.
