World Memory Program and its Role in Preservation of World Memory Program Documented Heritage

هدف: مقاله حاضر به بررسي ويژگي‌هاي برنامه حافظه جهاني يونسكو و تبيين اهداف يونسكو براي تدوين چنين برنامه‌اي مي‌پردازد. تاثير ثبت جهاني ميراث مستند مساله ديگري است كه اين مقاله در نظر دارد آن را روشن سازد. روش: اين مقاله با رويكرد توصيفي- تحليلي برمبناي روش كتابخانه‌اي و نيز اقدام پژوهي در معرفي آثار ايران به يونسكو تدوين شده است. يافته‌ها: شركت در برنامه‌هايي كه به ثبت و معرفي آثار مربوط به كشورمان مي‌پردازند مي‌تواند از چند بعد داراي ارزش باشد. از سويي توجه به يك اثر، اطلاع رساني براي آن و شناساندن اين ميراث به همه جهان كه در زمينه حفاظت بهتر اثر نيز موثر خواهد بود و از سويي ديگر معرفي مجموعه‏هاي فرهنگي ايران و اسلام به فرهنگ‌هاي ديگر در جهان از اهميت زيادي برخوردار است. اين تحقيق نشان مي‌دهد كه به دليل بعد وسيع برنامه حافظه جهاني، در ايران انديشمندان و مسيولان بايد با اعتناي بيشتري به آن نگاه كنند

Objective: The present article reviews the features of UNESCO World Memory initiative and explains UNESCO objective for drafting such a program. The impact of Universal registration of documented heritage is another issue illustrated. Methodology: The present study is based on the descriptive- analysis methodology using the library sources and the authorʹs experiences of her introductions of the Iranian documentary heritage to the UNESCO. Finding: The participation in the programs relating to the introduction and register of Iranian documentary heritage are very important. Introduction of an Iranian documentary heritage to the world which is useful on the preservation of such work from one hand, and the other hand, introducing the riches of the Irano-Islamic culture to the other world cultures are very significant. The present study shows that since the memory of the world program is very important all over the world, therefore it is necessary to the Iranian authorities and thinkers to paying attention to ituld give it a more serious attention.
