"Vienna Memorandum on “World Heritage and Contemporary Architecture – Managing the Historic Urban Landscape"

در دوران معاصر گسترش شهرهاي جديد بسياري از كشورها در پيرامون شهرهاي تاريخي، يكي از معضلات ساكنين و مديران شهري به‌شمار مي‌رود. در اغلب موارد اين رشد و توسعه شهرسازي نوين در صورت عدم كنترل صحيح و مديريت مطلوب از سوي مسيولين به‌عنوان عاملي كه ارزش‌هاي ميراثي شهرهاي تاريخي را تهديد مي‌كند، چالش برانگيز خواهد بود. بيست و هفتمين نشست كميته ميراث جهاني در شهر وين، بر موضوع گسترش شهرها در دوران معاصرتاكيد مي‌كند كه منظر شهرهاي تاريخي را همواره تحت تاثير قرار مي‌دهند. در اين تفاهم‌نامه پيشنهاد‌هايي براي مديريت حفاظت از مناظر شهري تاريخي و راهكارهايي نيز مرتبط با معاصر‌سازي در اين محدوده‌ها ارايه شده است. بر اين اساس با توجه به رشد و توسعه كالبدي شهرهاي كشور به ‌خصوص در پيرامون هسته تاريخي و مناظر ارزشمند آن، توجه به رويكرد‌هاي بيان شده در بندهاي اين كنفرانس ضروري به‌نظر مي‌رسد.

The city development and growth around historic cities of many countries have been a major problem or the residents and city managers in the contemporary era. This rapid development can become a difficult challenge for city managers since it can be considered a threat to heritage values in case they are not controlled and managed properly. The 27th session of World Heritage Committee in Vienna, the emphasis on the issue of urban sprawl in contemporary era, will affect the landscape of historic cities for ever. In this contract management proposals for conservation of historic urban landscapes and solutions associated with modernization were offered. Therefore, regarding the rapid growth and development of cities especially around the historic and valuable core of the city, considering the proposed approaches of the conference is essential.
