طرح موضوع حدوث و قدم عالم از جمله مسايلي است كه بسياري از عقلا در همه اعصار به آن پرداخته اند. در اين ميان، انديشمندان اسلامي نيز با همه گونه گوني مكاتب معرفتي كه به آن تعلق داشته اند، از اين قاعده بر كنار نبوده اند. اين مكاتب ـ اعم از فلاسفه، اشاعره، معتزله، باطنيه، عرفا و غيره ـ هر يك به فراخور نوع جهانبيني، شيوه ورود در مباحث عقلي، نحوه طرح مسيله و امور ديگري كه موجب امتياز يك مكتب از ساير مكاتب ميگردد، براي اين پرسش بنيادين ـ كه آيا وجود جهان هستي مسبوق به عدم است يا نه ـ پاسخي جداگانه يافته اند. نيز از آنجا كه ادبيات هر قوم، آيينه تمام نماي برترين انديشه ها و انگيزه هاي آن قوم به شمار ميرود، ادبيات گرانبار ما نيز بستر تضارب و رويارويي عالمانه اين گونه آرا متفكران برجسته‌ است كه هر كدام به يكي از اين مكاتب مختلف تعلق داشته اند. مقاله حاضر به ذكر آرا و اقوال برخي از متفكران برجسته اسلامي و سپس بيان و طرح نظريات، اظهارات و ابيات مولوي ـ به عنوان برترين نماينده عرفان و معرفت شهودي ـ و حكيم ناصرخسرو ـ به عنوان برجسته ترين نماينده تفكر كلامي اسماعيلي ـ در باب حدوث و قدم عالم اختصاص دارد.

The statement of creation and oldness of the universe including many of the issues more intellectuals have considered rationally at all times. Among them Islamic scholars of all schools of cognitive diversity have not been removed from the rule. The schools including philosophers, Asharites,Muʹtazilites , Batnyh, mystics, etc. according to the type of each worldview, style of Log in rational debate,How to state the problem and other matters that cause to overrate the one school to other schools , for this fundamental question - whether or not the universe is proceeded to non existence –have found separateresponse. The literature of every nation, however , is the complete mirror of the best ideas and Motivationsof that race , our precious literature is the bed of intellectual conflict and confrontation of this group of prominent thinkers which each was belonged to one of these different schools . This article mentionsideas and sayings of some of the leading thinkers of the Islamic Opinions, and then comments and verses of Rumi as the best representative of the intuitiveknowledge, and mysticism –and Hakim Nasirkhosro -as the most prominent representative of the Ismaili theology thinking -are devoted to creation and oldness of the universe .
