چكيده از جمله شبهات و چالش‌هاي فراروي مباحث عصمت انبياي الهي و امامان شيعه? چگونگي سازگاري عصمت با اختيار آدمي است. آيا مرتكب معصيت و خطا نشدن، چه عمدي و چه سهوي، چه صغيره و چه كبيره در همه عمر _ كه مدعاي انديشمندان اماميه است _ به نوعي به معناي سلب اختيار از معصوم نيست؟ علما و حكماي اسلامي در پاسخ و تبيين عقلي و منطقي اين مسيله، راه‌حل‌هايي مطرح كرده‌اند؛ از جمله تبيين و تحليلي كامل و جامع از سبب و منشا عصمت معصومين و نيز بررسي توالي فاسد پذيرش جبري بودن عصمت، همچون عدم استحقاق ثواب و فضيلت و متوجه نبودن تكاليف الهي نسبت به آنها و... . آن‌چه در اين نوشتار براي حل مناقشه عصمت و جبري انگاشتن آن از نظر مي‌گذرانيم، تبيين كليد حل معما، يعني بررسي ماهيت و حقيقت عصمت، براي يافتن سبب اين مصونيت معصومين? است.

Abstract One of the hesitations and challenges facing the divine prophets and Shiite Imams is that their infallibility does not seem to fit in with the human choice. Is not committing sin or error, whether intentional or unintentional, whether a petty misdemeanor or a grave sin (which is a belief of ImamiShiite ), throughout their lifetime, mean in a way contradictory with their choice as a human?The Ulema and Islamic scholars have provided solutions as response and rational and logical explanation. Amongst such solutions are providing a comprehensive and complete explanation and interpretation to resolve such conflict, the argument for coercive force of infallibility, the argument for not having their own right to do good deeds, and the argument for their immunity for their duties towards God, etc. What we consider here as a solution to the conflict of Infallibility and its coercive connotations, is the explanation of such a riddle, that is considering the nature and truth of infallibility, forfinding about the immunity of the infallible Imams.
